Tabitha Henson, DVM

Dr. Tabitha Henson is from Jacksonville, FL. She recently received her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree (DVM) from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She has spent the past four years, during veterinary school, living in the foothills of the Sonoran desert in Cave Creek where she fell in love with Arizona. She is thrilled to be out of the desert and in the beautiful mountain town of Flagstaff. A love for the outdoors and small-town living is what drew her and her partner Eli to Flagstaff. Her professional interests include surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and integrative medicine. She is pursuing her acupuncture certification and master’s degree in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine from Chi University. She is also passionate about community outreach and providing veterinary care to animals who have limited access to care.

In her free time, she loves to read, enjoy live music, hike and swim with her dog, and work in the garden with her partner Eli. She is also very passionate about dog training and working dogs. Her rescue golden retriever, Macey Mae, is her pride and joy. Macey travels everywhere with her and Eli and was even recently cast in a major pet store campaign that was actually shot in Flagstaff! She is excited to be serving the pets and the people of Flagstaff.
